40,000 Books Sent to Tanzania!

Thanks to our donors from Minneapolis, Prairie Du Chien and Books for Africa, we recently shipped a container of 40,000 books to the village of Mipa, Tanzania. The books are all published in English and we plan on getting a local publisher to translate the books to the local language of Swahili as well.

Attend our next fundraiser event!

A wine tasting and documentary screening will be held at Open Book in Minneapolis. Lisette Wright of the Kisangaji Project will be showing her documentary on Tanzania and a raffle and silent auction will follow. All donations will go directly to Dusome Foundation. Hors d' oeuvres will be provided! We look forward to seeing you there!
